Well I guess it's time for an update on my wonderful Holidays! Friday, March 16 Well my journey began at 10:10pm...left Hamilton in a Snowstorn usually when it should only take an hour to get to Toronto it took us 2 hours. Crazy weather!!!!!!!! Got to Toronto waited an hour for my bus to Sudbury. We stopped half way for a break, and I won't get into details...but the police showed up and took 2 people away that were on our bus....kind of scary. Arrived in Sudbury at 6:30am Saturday morning Saturday March 17 Sleep for most of the morning after arriving at my parents house. My grandfather and cousin came over in the afternoon and stayed for dinner. My cousin stayed the night and we watched movies, I think we watched 3 all together...well at least she did I fell asleep half way through the first one....great cousin I am...lol Sunday March 18 Got up early packed up the van and headed to the cottage....It was so cold out, I'm glad I decided to bring my winter coat. Got to the cottage and nearly froze standing in the house, unpacked everything and then my mom took me driving. I think my mom and cousins lives falshed before them with my driving...it was funny. WEnt to the trading post and bought some souveniours for the kids that I babysit Spent the afternoon watching Nascar...we all pitched in $2 and picked a driver that was fun....My dad ended up winning a great afternoon relaxed for the afternoon and then went to bed. Monday March 19 Went and visited some family, didn't do muc slept for most of the day...spent some time trying to find TLC on my parents Satellite....you would think with have a Satilliet Dish they would have it...but NOOOOO. So my mom's Aunt said we could go over there at 9 to the watch the Arndt's TLC documentary...I enjoyed it and so did my mom! came home and went to bed. Tuesday March 20 Head back to my parents house....my dad let me drive most of the way, which was almost an hour (that's alot of driving for someone who has only driven twice before. Got home later in the afternoon finished rolling all my change that I had saved for the last 5 months from my tips at work.....total comming to $588....very impressed. My aunt came over for dinner. Wednesday March 21 Headed into Sudbury to deposit all my coin....got $300 American back for my trip in April....Went shopping and got some great deals on some summer clothes. Headed to my Uncles to see him and my cousins. Headed home to spend the last evening with my parents Thursday March 22 Spent the day doing Laundry...packing. Had to leave half my stuff behind...Not enough room. Did nothing all day just relaxed getting ready for my trip back to Hamilton. Left for the Bus station at 11:30pm Boarded the bus at 1:00am and arrived back in Hamilton 8am friday morning And that was it....It went by so fast...and I miss my parents so much. |
